Veggios Seeds

Veggios Seeds is home to the Veggios Seed Exchange, a free community board for sharing heirloom and open-pollinated seeds. The project gives seed sharing a place of its own within the Three Green family. Its tagline, ‘Share seeds.

Grow together,’ stays close to what the board is for: people passing seeds between neighbors, rather than needing to turn every seed-sharing conversation into something larger.

The process has three steps. First, post what you have. Next, neighbors reach out.

Then, pass it forward. That sequence describes the exchange in plain language, beginning with the seeds a person is ready to share and moving toward a conversation with someone nearby. It keeps the invitation understandable without adding rules or promises that are not part of the project's stated facts.

Contact details are shared only when asked. That detail belongs alongside the step where neighbors reach out, because it explains how contact information is treated within the exchange. Posting what you have is not described as automatically publishing those details.

The seed-sharing process and the handling of contact information are both part of understanding the community board before taking part.

The site has a Swap Board, Seed Stores and a Learn section. Those sections give visitors several ways to explore the seed destination, while the free community exchange remains the central idea. Veggios Seeds sits alongside Veggios Marketplace in the wider family, but it has its own purpose: sharing heirloom and open-pollinated seeds through a community board.

The magazine introduces that purpose here, then points readers to the venture itself. Start with what you have, let neighbors reach out, and pass it forward. The whole invitation fits the same short line: share seeds, grow together.
