Notes Toward a Collective Whole
The working principles behind Harmonious Existence, and how they map onto real ventures.
Treat 'a balanced reality' as a research question and it decomposes into testable pieces. Three principles do most of the work in the Harmonious Existence framework.
First, symmetry of benefit: a system is stable when every participant gains from its existence. Three Green Records' ninety-percent artist split is a small, running instance of the principle.
Second, locality of trust: large-scale harmony is built from small-scale reliability. A neighborhood where the plumber, the roofer, and the landscaper are accountable to their neighbors — the 3G TeamWork model — scales further than any platform policy.
Third, honesty of conversation: the hard topics — drugs, money, meaning — have to be discussable without excommunication, or the unresolved questions corrode everything built on top of them. That is the entire reason the Conversation Topics group exists.
These notes are a work in progress by design. The project's wager is that a philosophy refined in public, and tested by real ventures, outlasts one declared from a podium.
